Representative Professional Experience
- Obtained a favorable outcome for equity-investor defendants in a corporate governance and securities dispute centered on contractual rights, funding obligations, and proper management under low-income housing tax credit partnership agreements for twelve separate developments in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
- Obtained a judgment sustaining the exceptions of prescription and no cause of action in an unsuccessful bidder's lawsuit seeking injunctive, declaratory, and monetary relief in connection with a multi-phase project to replace nurse communication systems in a large, multi-campus inpatient and outpatient complex.
- Successfully defended a limited liability company in both the trial court and on appeal against claims its members violated the company's operating agreement by suspending a member and subsequently selling the non-suspended members' interests to a sole non-suspended member.
- Represented one of the country's largest non-bank mortgage servicers against claims it violated the False Claims Act, 31 U.S.C. §§ 3729-3733.
